SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD (code:RD-SQAL)

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to QA team members.
• Able and willing to work alone on customer projects in a self directed and mature manner.
• Multi task and to provide needed input efficiently on QA activities
• Review QA project artifacts including Test Plans, Test Scripts and project strategies
• Implement and maintain detailed concise test plans
• Assist in developing, organizing and maintaining QA methodologies and actively engage in rolling out QA organization improvements to own project
• Establish close working relationships with development teams
• Provide career guidance and mentoring for all QA Engineers.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experienced in playing a QA Lead role.
• Has actual development and testing experience. (preferably 3+ years of  development experience)
• Has background in development of automated test cases using a proprietary Unix-based scripting language called DSD (originally derived from TCL)
• Strong skills in SQL, XML, SOAP and Unix  (including solid knowledge of shell scripting).
  With previous work experience in a Telecommunications company is a definite advantage.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to travel abroad.
• Full- Time position available.

Essential:

• Telecommunications network and technology understanding
• Scripting Languages such as Perl, SQL, Shell
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Oracle
• Good automation skills
