DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (code: RD-DBA)

FOR MANPOWER POOLING

College degree graduate or Post Graduate Diploma /Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
With at least 3-4 solid years of database administration experience in the MS SQL Server (v.7/2000/2005) environment preferably with some DBD exposure
Knowledge in Oracle (v.8i,9i,10g,11) and UDB DB2 is a definite advantage
Extensive background in DB admin/back-up/restore, DB tuning, replication, relational DB design
Knowledge or experience in doing backups, disaster recovery, patches installation and fine tuning is a plus.
Experience in deploying full life-cycle enterprise-wide solutions
Analytical, results-oriented and a team player
Must be technically savvy for possible (but not heavy) System Administration needs
Must be able to communicate well, assertive enough to support requests
Has strong problem solving, analytical and documentation skills
Ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities in a fast paced environment
